good with kids? very
was this dog rescued? yes. we found Isabelle on the side of the road tied to a pole that said 'free dog', this dog was very underweight and very afraid of women, bald men, men who wear hooded jackets and people with sunglasses. we first found she was in love with my husband and wouldn’t listen to me, unfortunately we were stuck together while my husband was deployed and since she has been around children, newborns and never bit a child. she did have a chewing problem that we are working on, but she was a puppy and still is, the love she brings us and other people is very unconditional, and not knowing what happened to this dog before she came to us at 8 months old, it was very interesting to find that she still trusted us and 6 months later we are a big happy family. taking on a big dog is a very big task but we manage, Ii encourage people to rescue dogs for they need our help as much as we need theirs.
