Maggie came into my
life a very scared and undersocialized 11 month old pup;
I am her 4th and final owner. With a lot of training and
patience, Maggie has come a long way. She and I currently
compete in
|
dog agility and serve
as a Delta Society Pet Partners team (therapy dog work).
Maggie has passed the Canine Good Citizen test and is learning
to herd sheep in addition to knowing about 80 words and serving
as a demo dog in my clicker training demonstrations.
Just last weekend, Maggie and I spent a weekend at a kids
camp in our therapy dog team role; Maggie worked with 50
kids between the ages of 7 and 17 for two days and definitely
made her girl proud! :) We have been invited back for next
year's camp already! |
