loves children but doesn't
understand their limits. she play's very hard. when she see's
children she trembles with joy, and infants turn her to jelly.

was this dog rescued? |
Yes,
she is a handful. Stone deaf and loves to chase aeroplanes,
for example. But she exists in a state of perpetual, unbridled
joy. This aspect is inspiring considering she spent at least
two years in a local no-kill shelter. Being deaf (and of
two very willful breeds), she has special needs. Apparently,
none of a long string of potential adopters were up to the
task. But I cannot imagine life without her. She is an inspiring
presence and always game. She did require very focused attention
in the beginning, but this is what you would expect from
a being who had been caged half her life, even under the
best conditions. She makes me look good too. |
