was this dog rescued? |
yes,
my father was first introduced to Sandy by a friend who worked
at the shelter she was in. he took her out for the day trying
to find her an owner because her time was almost up. she
was very young, only 6 weeks old. my dad and mom went to
the shelter to see her, and she remembered my dad. they adopted
her that day. she's been with my family almost 14 years and
has been completely loyal and obedient to us. she's always
been a bit insecure from being taken from her mother so young,
and she adopted my parents as her own parents, and my sister
and I as her 'sisters'. she's had few health problems (bladder
stones at 6, cataracts now), and has a great personality.
because of her, I'd adopt another rescued dog any day! |
